Primus
Meet "Primus" - Primus is an 8-string resonator guitar, or "mandola". He was made from an antique silverware box, a re-purposed "stratocopy" neck, and antique drawer pull. His resonator is made from a silver trivet and poached egg tin to give it more of a dobro sound. He features 4 pairs of strings, and sounds much like a cross between a mandolin and 12-string guitar. Original back of the silverware box was cardboard and was replaced with a piece from a Primus wine crate, hence the name. His sound hole is made from jatoba wood and he also features a "rainbow" layered adjustable floating bridge. You can purchase her at the Etsy store, MelodditiesMusic. Or contact me direct via my contact info (info@meloddities.com.)
