Meet "Leo". Leo is a 4-string banjo made from an old silverware box. His neck is hand-carved maple with a "neopolitan" layered heel of maple, oak and cypress. His fretboard is jatoba, an exotic hardwood. Antique drawer pulls make up the tailpiece and hand rest, with spiral ornaments for the sound holes. Leo is "self standing" when the box is opened. Stainless steel screws are used for fret markers. He has a hand-made adjustable floating bridge.
