Meet "Herb" - 4-String Resonator Guitar
Inspired by childhood memories of Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass records on the old family stereo console. An artist friend donated the trumpet. The resonator is a metal clock face, T-bracket & 3 old telephone bells. The body is an antique silverware box. Other adornments include a violin scroll on the headstock and an antique drawer pull for the tailpiece. The trumpet parts are non-functional and purely for fun. The audio track pays homage to the late great John Lennon, in celebration of his life and recent 80th birthday.
